Andre de Ruyter's three-year reign of terror at Eskom comes to an abrupt end as he flees South Africa. The power utility boss cuts short his tenure only after serving as Chief Executive of Eskom for over three years. He should complete the rest of his tenure behind bars awaiting trial for treason. In an act of economic sabotage Andre de Ruyter refused to finance the maintenance of Eskom's coal power station units and made an executive decision to channel funds into unreliable renewable solar and wind energy which can not produce the necessary 29 thousand Megawatts required to keep South Africa running. Andre de Ruyter is fleeing South Africa to avoid accountability for the crimes he committed at Eskom that have crippled South Africa's already ailing economy.
